Misc WizardOfVegas Forum is Dying

In my post on the previous page, I stated that Weak Wizard was begging WoV members for money while negotiating the sale of his stupid forums...ultimately getting a payday of $2.35 million.

A person that I refuse to acknowledge has taken exception to my facts saying that I'm not being accurate, saying I don't know the timing of the sale and what I said just doesn't fly. Fair enough...no problem at all. I guess the only thing left is to check the facts.

Fact...On June 6, 2014, Weak Wizard started a thread begging forum members for money

Fact...On Sept 19, 2014 the sale of WoV and his other stupid forums was announced on CalvinAyre.com.

Fact...He suckered people into giving him money knowing he was trying to make the sale.

The Ayre article didn't specify the exact sale date but a reasonable person would think that a multimillion dollar negotiation would take longer than the three month window supported by the facts.

 

Chalk one up for billryan. While the WoV mods are fretting and whining over AI and how to ban it...billryan injects a bit of common sense. He posted "I think I'd be more concerned with growing a dying forum than coming up with excuses to ban people."

Exactly. But when you work for free under the spell of a guy who calls himself the DICKtator...I guess the power trip rubs off. Careful Bill...common sense may be an offense that will get you banned over there.

By the way...those fools have no idea what or who is AI and have admitted as much.

Just found it's still there a 2021 thread titled: "Believe It or Not, AceMT by Counting the High . . . " of a Vegas-based blackjack forum.

Moraine has a blackjack book on Amazon that is rated 4.5 stars out of 5. That's all it took to set off a bunch of jealous WoV losers. Of course he got banned over there...they just couldn't handle it. No...they'd rather live in the past.

 

And I gave a paper at the National Conference on Gambling and Risk-Taking, was included in Who's Who in Sports Gambling, was hired by Billy Walters, had the best or second best ATS record in the invitational Playbook Wise Guys Contest for a cumulative 30 years, and I was banned for poking fun at a mod who was too big for his britches. P.S. I don't pick on profs. My late wife was a prof with a double doctorate. I pick on adjuncts (look up what an adjunct is) who think they're God's gift to a discipline.

The above post was first made by me on Jan 15, 2016. It was referring to what the creep posted on his DT site. As soon as he saw this...he deleted the DT posts. That's the man of integrity...Mr. Transparency himself.

 

Let's all welcome WoV's newest member cupidbaba who brings the fake membership to 25,862. Cupidbaba is in red...permanently banned no doubt...but will always be counted as a member. You see, that dishonest board run by a dishonest phony, counts this poster the same as it's top poster...the mentally ill EvenBob who is salivating over his upcoming 30,000th post. Yes... he's the only one as most wish he would just go away.

If you go to cupidbaba's profile it says "cupidbaba has not started any threads." That's lie number one. It also says "cupidbaba has not made any posts." That's lie number two. Under statistics it says threads started 1 and posts made 1. Delete and lie...rinse and repeat.

The thread that cupidbaba 'didn't' start at 12:16:28 today was entitled "Maximize Pleasure With Penis Sleeves." A week late no? Sounds like the perfect Valentine's day gift some of the WoV cult.

I wonder if Gordo jumped on this...maybe even ordered some 'sleeves' for that special midget or favorite double amputee. So yes...put your sticky hands together and welcome cupidbaba to WoV....a perfect fit if there ever was one. Another embarrassment for the owners but hey...that's what $2.4 mil gets you.

 

I recently started going through this thread here and found it entertaining. I've never had an account at WoV, and I didn't even know they had a forum until I saw this thread. But I clicked on some of these provided links to see what all the noise was about, and I saw what you all were saying. It has a junior high lunchroom vibe, with power-tripping mods who interject themselves into the threads WAY too much, getting off on their judgmental authority to decide who gets to sit at the cool kids table and who has to go sit in the corner, suspended because he said something less than obsequious to the mods, or broke one of the forums vague very subjective rules on decorum and respect.

What happens in that situation reminds me of my experience on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Everyone wants those stupid 5-cent bead necklaces that the mods throw from the second floor to the peasants below, which included me. The mods above sit in supreme unquestioned judgment, deciding which fool below (including me) they'd throw the beads to. And us peasants below were in a fevered contagious panic to do anything it took to please the mod gods above.

This is the fever that makes all the women pull up their shirts and bras and publicly show their tits to the mod gods.

I remember thinking to myself: "MUST GET BEADS!!!" -- willing to do anything for the lords above and lick boot to earn their approval and acceptance. I came so, so close to dropping trou' and exhibiting my rig. Maybe one more Hurricane cocktail, and I would have.

That's where the mods down below in the crowd -- the undercover cops -- exercise their power-tripping authority. These are the same jackoffs who were standing there with their arms folded, with huge grins from ear to ear, admiring all the great racks, including Cathy's, a sexy blonde vamp D-cup loadmaster we had on our USAF aircrew.

I'm so glad I didn't flash my rig, though. Evidently, bare penis is NOT acceptable to the cop mods in the crowd below. It's one of those vague, subjective forum rules that apply to some and not others. The Enlisted Maintenance Tech on our aircrew, a sweet young guy 100 yards away, got the fever too and flashed his rig from the street below to the mod gods on the second floor. Within a half-second, those same jackoff cop mods who were salivating over all the tits grabbed our Maintenance Tech in a full-Nelson and dragged him into the side street where they had a large white police van full of other men who had flashed bare penis too.

Rick, the other pilot, and I didn't find out about this til the next morning when we alerted the crew to prepare for mission takeoff. Rick went to bail our kid out of jail while I took the crew to the C-5 to prepare for the mission. We were going to keep it quiet and not tell the Colonel back home, but because of the bail-out delay, we took off 35 minutes late, so we had to fully explain the truth.

I felt so bad for our boy. He was a sweet Southern, hard-working patriotic Troop. And especially since I just about did the same thing -- he just wanted to earn some damn 5-cent beads. The Colonel punished him by taking 2-Stripes from his sleeve and pay, and he had to go back to New Orleans several times for criminal adjudication, where he was finally convicted of "Public Indecent Exposure." He was forced to register as a Sex Offender for LIFE.

So, don't flash your penis on Bourbon Street.

The suspense is over! EvenBob/Spike has made his 30,000th post on WoV. Here's the first sentence:

"For my 30,000th post, I'm making the announcement that I'm writing a book on how to beat roulette."

I'm not going to give this nut job any more publicity except to say that it gets a lot more bizarre. Anyone interested knows where to find it.

 

The core issue with WoV is that there's nobody there who's actually accomplished anything gambling. The best they can trot out are Shackleford, Axelwolf, and Mission, and that's kind of sad. It's just a silly place where people can pretend that they know what they're doing and get slaps on the back for it.

 

The elephant in the room at "Mike's house" is quite obvious even to the casual observer. WoV has it's share of out of control, compulsive gamblers constantly looking for their next fix...some of whom are con artists. Just look at what they will bet on...and most of it has nothing to do with Vegas or casinos. A fat blonde's weight, grown men stuffing food down their throats...the list goes on.

These people have no discipline or patience and waste a lot of time obsessing over their next fix. The members all see it but remain silent for fear of upsetting their leader, Weak Wizard. They continue to walk on eggshells not wanting to be banned by the vindictive Herr DICKtator.

There are many that need that fix over there. A couple that stand out are Weak Wizard himself and pal SOOPOO...especially SOOPOOP. I wonder how much of the LCB money has been lost so far. The man of integrity doesn't exactly share his losses with his underlings.

 

Add “Dieterisadick” to the membership list for all eternity, or as long as the site lasts.

The creep seems upset someone keeps creating new accounts and commenting there.

It annoys me that Shackleford got all miffed when, was it five years ago, I debunked his "parlay calculator" enthusiasm. He was all proud offering it -- well, it's five years later, and half the offshores have one you can use onsite these days, just to, you know, help and aid you with your gambling.

If he wasn't astute or honest enough to instantly recognize the issues with a "parlay calculator," then he has no business sticking his schnoz into sports betting. It's ridiculous.

Basically, if you don't shop for the optimal numbers over time and at different places, then you are stepping into a non-optimal situation at the moment you use a "parlay calculator," rendering the vast majority of "parlay calculator" use detrimental. You can employ third-grade math to assign half-point values to those non-optimal lines you wind up using if you are too lazy or stupid to shop for numbers at different places at different times. So there is a clear cost to using non-optimal numbers that dwarfs the advantages of using a calculator.

This shit is obvious. No self-respecting bookmaker, from 1940 to 2000 to today, would have bought into the lazy "parlay calculator" nonsense.

Now anybody can get something wrong, even completely wrong as in this case. But has anyone reported that he walked back his "parlay calculator" enthusiasm? Because if he hasn't, he is one dishonest sonufabitch. He must know it's a detriment in 90% of the cases.
