I can't win with a flat bet. The 5% commission rate would eat into my profits, causing me to lose money in the long run. I think it's difficult for anyone to win and make money in the long run with flat bets. There are no effective mechanical betting options.

If you can't win by FB you can't win by progressively betting either. But in the latter case ITLR you'll lose a lot more money than by flat betting.

Let me know why the 5% vig should decrease its mathematical strenght at progressive wagers whatever placed.

Actually whether you can't win by FB you are just postponing the inevitable crash of your bankroll and future bankrolls by a 1 million % of accuracy.

    as.

Baccarat is a guessing game. and my mechanical betting choices will typically follow a long streak, either losing or winning. for example: 1. LLLWLLLLLWLWWLLLWWWL 2. WWWWLLWWLLLLWLWWLLWWW. SHOULD I positively choose 1.2.4 or 1.2.4.4. That was my thought.

    Yes, thanks!

Was in the Chinatown Genting the other day and I got speaking to a couple in their early 60s in between shuffling.
I had my notebook in front of me and the lady asked me if someone had taught me how to play Baccarat? I answered that I taught myself after studying the game. She said that most of the Chinese players that play there follow the roads as they were taught. Most of them playing were quite successful but the next shoe out was quite an easy one with just single P's from around hand 15 to 60. You can't really lose in that situation even if you are only just monitoring the scoreboard.

I have always said that to win at these table games, you need some kind of ''extra'' information to anticipate what's likely to happen. If you want to call that guessing, that's up to you. What I have noticed after several months of some serious time put in at the tables is that it's much easier to let the game come to you! You can think that you are really smart and have an answer for every situation but getting into a grind with the casino doesn't always end well. As others have already said on here many times, it's either working or it's not! To win flat requires a good degree of precision and you will only get that if you can be discerning as to when you place some bets.

One thing I can honestly say is that Baccarat doesn't play out like Roulette. Roulette feels and acts a lot more unpredictable with a lot of time no rhyme or reason to it. Baccarat plays differently and IMO, there seems to be more of an order to how it unfolds. That's not to say that one shoe can not throw up completely different characteristics compared to the previous one because they often do but you can still see it unfolding.

Stop loss is a must. Take profit is optional.
